Lappers, Aprons & Conveyors
For the purpose of layering garnetted or carded non-woven batts, Hayes Industries manufactures two different models of Lappers. Both our High Speed Camelback Lapper and our Horizontal Cross Lapper deliver a consistent laydown with uniform edges. Width and Laydown Length is completely customizable for your application. We also offer Floor Aprons to deliver lapped batts from the Lapper to the succeeding process.
Uses
Forming layers of garnetted or carded batt to desired thickness and loft.
High Speed Camelback Lapper
Hayes Industries’ High Speed Camelback Lapper is engineered to be exceptionally reliable and simple to maintain and control to produce a fine, even, and consistent lap.
Horizontal Cross Lapper
The Hayes Industries Horizontal Cross Lapper produces goods with consistent laydown and uniform edges just as well.
Aprons & Conveyors
Hardwood aprons custom made for your specific application. Numerous slat designs available. Antimicrobial slats and backing available for hypo-allergenic applications. Standard and custom conveyors also available.
